God’s Word
God has really been hammering me lately for not reading the Word enough and while listening to a Podcast from my spiritual Dad, Greg Fadness at Lighthouse Christian Fellowship in Twin Falls Idaho, I was reminded of how amazing God’s Word is and how much I really do NEED it. So here are some great things to remember about God’s Word today.
1. It orders our steps (Psalm 119:133)
2. It produces Joy in me (Psalm 119:162)
3. It gives hope (Psalm 119:74, 81)
4. It gives light (Psalm 119:105, 130)
5. It gives understanding (Psalm 119:169
6. It reveals God’s will to us (Isaiah 55:11)
7. It builds me up (Acts 20:32)
8. It produces fruit (John 15:7)
9. It convicts us of sin (Hebrews 4:12)
10. It converts the soul (1 Peter 1:23)
11. It consecrates our lives unto God (John 17:17
12. It corrects us (2 Timothy 3:16)
13. It comforts us (Psalm 119:50)
Be encouraged today by God’s Word and carve out some time to read it today, I know I will!

Amen, and Amen! Not spending time in God's word is like carrying on a one-way convo with a friend…and I'm the only one talking. God is totally more gracious and forgiving than any earthly friend could be, but why treat the creator of the universe like that …that is the conviction of my heart regularly!
